Project Description
This magnificent wall mounted sculpture captures that Biblical moment when a chariot and horses of fire take Elijah like a whirlwind to heaven. Elisha bears witness to this shown with his clothing torn in two. One hand is sheltering himself from the blaze and light from the fiery chariot, and the other hand is holding Elijah’s mantel that fell to him as he kneels by the river Jordan.
