Ninety-Five Thesis
By Timothy P. Schmalz
Project Description
The sculpture depicts a young Martin Luther as he boldly nails The 95 Theses to an unseen church door. Above him, a spray of 95 doves rises triumphantly into the sky symbolizing the dissemination of the Protestant Reformation. Standing over 10ft. tall, the original bronze sculpture was dedicated at the Historic Trinity Lutheran Church downtown Detroit to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of Martin Luther nailing the ninety-five theses to the door of All Saints Church in Wittenberg Germany in 1517.
Small scale replicas available in quantities of 50 or more.
